Final 2006 Grand Prix Standings
Another year of grand prix racing is in the books. This year's overall winners are Anne Treadwell (24 points) and Mike Early (23 points). There were 3 ties, all in the women's divisions (<20, 50s, and 60s) Liz Foster won the 50s tie-breaker since Ruth won in 2005, Sally Howe won the 60s tiebreaker by running one more GMAA race than Rosemary (Turkey Trot). The <20 division was true tie and Kelsey and Johannah will be co-winners. The streak continues for Dave Fields - another 11 races makes 76 in a row. Mike Early also was step for step with Dave this year, until missing the Green Mountain Marathon. In total 50 men and 51 women earned at least one grand prix point.
