A record turnout of 284 finished the 5K course in cold, but safe conditions. $600 and 600 pounds of food were donated to the Burlington Emergency Food Shelf! Bruce Hyde won the men's race in 16:20 and Angie DeFilippi won the women's race in 20:56. Bruce Cunningham and Dave Jacobowitz filled in as race directors for Ralph Swenson this year. Since Ralph's kids have grown up and moved away he has decided to step down as race director for this worthy, relaxed event. Have no fear, we have a replacement! Anne Treadwell has volunteered to take the race director position as the race turns 27 next year. The club plans to keep the same format of the race that Ralph has used the last several years. Thanks to Ralph and Neil for helping out all these years and making the race what it is today!
