Summary: A bright and sunny morning greeted the racers this year. 56 people participated in at least one of the races, while many more came to watch or help. 17 students from the school ran, and the competition for class participation was close yet again with the 2nd grade besting the teachers by 1%. In the 5K (the only race with official results) Sam Davis tied his own course record with a 16:52, while Mariana Lara Planas won the women's race in 20:24. Top student was Dylan Crook (26:50). Top parent was Cathy Eustis (20:42). Top teachers were Mary Ellen Varhue (31:10) and Simeon Lewis (23:02). Thanks to everyone who helped make this event successful, including the strong participation by GMAA members! Thanks also to Coke for the donation to the race.
