Summary: A fun morning! 69 people turned out to run and walk for fitness and to raise funds for the St. Francis Xavier School. 12 young children ran the 0.2 mile loop around the school, while 23 older children and parents ran and walked the 2.5K loop. 34 people ran the 5K race. Sam Davis and Jessica Bolduc both bettered the course records despite the heat in times of 16:53 and 21:51 respectively. The fastest parent was Sam Davis and the fastest teacher was Bethany Rice. The fastest student in the 5K was 12 year old Mary Crowley in a remarkable 23:13! Another performance of note was 8 year old Logan Bean's 26:57. The 2.5K finish was fun to watch with John Crowley and Chris McCormick sprinting to a tie. The 5th grade won the participation award, edging out the teachers by 1.4%. The Duprat family had the most participants from one house with six! Thanks to everyone who helped make this event successful!
