25th Annual GMAA Kaynor's Sap Run

Summary: Lots of mud from a week of rain made for zig-zagging paths run by all the racers (many felt like they did 10K in the end!). Duncan Larkin took the men's race in 36:30. He was followed in by Scott Atkins in 37:32 and Norm Larson in 37:46. On the women's side, Nikki Kimball took top honors with a fast 39:22. She was followed in by Deb Light in 41:55, and Dot Martin in 42:47. Two age group records were set - Nikki's time beat Sue Manley's old record by 1 second and Zeke Zucker broke Gerald Barney's old record by a whopping 28 seconds. Both previous records stood for about 10 years. In order to commemorate this special 25th anniversary running, special t-shirts were given to all runners and volunteers. Special thanks to Chapin and Donna who have directed this race for all 25 years!
