No one can say that Vermonters aren't hardy. Despite a fresh foot of snow, 26 GMAA members made the trek to New Bedford for the annual half marathon and kick-off to the USATF grand prix season. 4 vans offered flexibility for the winter-weary travellers to leave during the brief break in the weekend storm. The racing weather was infinitely better in southern MA than Vermont despite strong winds. Folks turned in respectable times and represented the club well. 3 members had a finish in the top 3 of their age group. The team captured two 3rd place age group finishes. Thanks to all the GMAA'ers for making the race and travels a memorable experience.
