7th Annual GMAA Green Mountain Marathon

Summary: Running the final 15 miles barefoot, Tim Tabor of Shelburne won the men's race in 2:50:20. Peter Millard and Jeff Jones ran head-to-head with Tabor for the first 23 miles when Tabor sprinted into the lead and was never challenged again. Jeannie Panner of Jericho was the first woman finisher in 3:52:08. There were 44 runners who started the race, the most ever in its history. The course was AAU certified and a Boston Marathon qualifier.
