GREEN MOUNTAIN ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
History of the Green Mountain Half Marathon
The Green Mountain Half Marathon was started in 1987 during the second running of the Green Mountain Marathon to provide a complement event. It has provided an opportunity for people to explore the beautiful island course without having to train for or run a full marathon.
